In November of 2007, the Wynwood Arts District, Miami, would never had guessed a collective of contemporary curators and artists were conspiring to steal back the streets of Miami’s most recognized art districts. That December, during the worlds largest contemporary art exhibition, Art Basel, Primary Flight transformed a once blighted art district into Miami’s first open air museum, housing works by some of contemporary arts greatest creators. Since then, Primary Flight has been recognized as the worlds largest outdoor, site specific, mural exhibition, and has continued to grow with undeniable force.
